Who’s Behind Kitchen Skip?
Hello! I’m a busy Mama of two, professional recipe developer, optimist, lover of buttered toast and steaming hot mugs of coffee. You can read more about my life and my culinary work history by checking out this Get to Know Me newsletter.
I started my food blog a few years ago to motivate myself out of a cooking slump. Cooking dinner was no longer a joy; it had become an endless and overwhelming chore.
I called my blog Kitchen Skip because I wanted to inspire myself (and you!) to happily skip into the kitchen, instead of dragging our feet and dreading the task. I also wanted simple, nourishing recipes and a simple meal planning strategy that let me skip a few nights in the kitchen each week.
Like most things in life, it’s a work in progress! But my joy for cooking is back and I’m thrilled to be sharing my recipes with you and your family.
